Sock Mopping

We focussed on the Kitchen today. Much more fun than the living room was yesterday. The girls are in there sock mopping right now.

I included it in our Camp Rainbow plans just because it sounded like so much fun. BUT...it is also remarkably effective. AND...I can let THEM do it.

I'll have to help with the final clean-up of the soapy water, but it is nice to let them have fun and take a break for myself.

This morning that floor was covered with dirty laundry and garbage, Kool Aid stains, broken spaghetti noodles, crumbs, etc. This has certainly been a productive day.

In the future I think I'll be able to use the possibility of Sock Mopping to get the girls to help clean the kitchen.
